Laura graduated from OCADU (graphic design) and a had an early career in package design. She lives full time in Toronto but spends many weekends at her property in Wellington, Ontario. She exhibits at various galleries and art shows throughout Ontario.
“My paintings explore the quiet power of flowers—their beauty, fragility, and the emotions they carry. I don’t just see them as still-life objects, but as floral portraits, each with a distinct posture and presence. In many ways, these works are reflections of myself. Their curves, folds, and transitions echo my own experiences, emotions, and internal seasons. Working in oil on large canvases, I focus on soft, layered brushwork balanced with bold negative space.”
